TCU President Paul Marsh Elected to CUNA Board of Directors

Marsh becomes one of 24 Directors on the influential board which advocates on behalf of credit unions across the country.

The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) announced the election of Teachers Credit Union President and CEO Paul Marsh to its Board of Directors, effective March 2, 2021.

“I have devoted my career to credit unions because I am committed to the philosophy we all share of serving our members and improving our communities,” Marsh said. “I’m thrilled for the opportunity to work with the CUNA Board to strengthen the role credit unions play in promoting economic security and financial wellbeing.”

As TCU’s President and CEO since 2011, Marsh oversees the $3.9 billion financial institution, the largest credit union in Indiana with more than 300,000 members and nearly 60 service centers throughout the state and in southwest Michigan. In 2019, Marsh received the Professional Achievement Award from the Indiana Credit Union League.

Marsh has been active with credit union trade associations Callahan & Associates, Members Development Corporation, PSCU and the World Council of Credit Unions. He is also active in the community serving as Chair of ChoiceLight, Inc., an initiative providing bandwidth to schools, businesses, government and community organizations, and is a former Chair and current Board Member of the South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce and Executive Committee member of the Indiana Youth Institute’s Board of Directors.

“Credit unions are vital community institutions,” Marsh said. “As we innovate to provide efficient digital tools, our ability to meet members’ individual needs with personal, local service will remain our defining characteristic.”
