We’re launching a new feature that lets you chat with us on our website. It’s just one more way we’re working to enhance your banking experience.

Alice can answer a wide variety of questions and offer suggestions for where you can find important information about your account or TCU services. She’s always available by clicking the icon at the bottom of any TCU webpage. Simply start typing your question or select from one of several popular topics offered in the chat box.

Like any bot, Alice “learns” as our members interact with her and will continue to improve as we receive feedback and answers are perfected. And, if you don’t find your answer, you can also choose to chat with a live agent during business hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  What is a chatbot?
A:  It’s is a computer program that uses artificial intelligence (A.I.) to converse through text. Alice, TCU’s Chatbot, is programmed to respond to frequently asked member questions so you can benefit from an ever-growing collection of answers.

Q:  Can I get my account balance or ask about a transaction on my statement through the chat feature?
A:  Because we value your security, the TCU chat feature cannot provide account-specific information.

Q:  Can I chat with a live person if I can’t find my answer using the Chatbot?
A:  A live agent is only a click away between 8 am and 5 pm Monday-Friday, and from 8 am to 1 pm Saturday.

Q:  What if Alice’s answer doesn’t quite match the question I’m asking?
A:  Our Chatbot “learns” with every interaction, and you can help by clicking the thumbs up if she answered your question and the thumbs down if she didn’t. This will help Alice provide better answers as you chat.

Q:  How can I submit feedback through Alice?
A:  Feedback is appreciated, simply type it into the “Was I helpful” section at the bottom of the chatbot window.

A:  It could be your browser, please try a different browser. Internet Explorer is not a supported browser for these features of our website.
