Don't forget about your IRA!

You can still contribute for 2020 and get a jump start on 2021.

If you didn't fully fund your IRA last year, you're not too late. You have until the April 15, 2021 tax-filing deadline to contribute for 2020. Now's also a great time to get an early jump on your 2021 contributions.

Remember: You can still contribute to an IRA even if you participate in an employer-sponsored retirement plan, like a 401(k) or 403(b).

Roth IRAs offer withdrawals free from federal tax if you meet the specified withdrawal conditions. Traditional IRAs offer tax-deferred growth and — if you qualify — tax-deductible contributions.

The annual combined limit for Roth and Traditional IRAs contributions for both the 2020 and 2021 tax years is $6,000 ($7,000 if you're age 50 or older and meet eligibility requirements).
