Rick Van Es Named President of TCU Insurance

Welcome to Rick Van Es who began his tenure as President of the TCU Insurance Agency in early May. “Rick's experience will be instrumental in strengthening the relationships between the TCU Insurance Agency and its strategic partners to enhance the products offered to clients,” says Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer Chad Douglass.

Rick Van Es joins the credit union as President of the TCU Insurance Agency after 20 years as Managing Director of CrossRoads Business Advisors LLC where he also served as an independent contractor for TCU. Previously, Van Es was President and Chief Financial Officer of American Electronic Components, Inc.

“Rick’s experience will be instrumental in strengthening the relationships between the TCU Insurance Agency and its strategic partners to enhance the products offered to clients,” says TCU Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer Chad Douglass. “His expertise and track record as an innovative leader will be instrumental in the growth of the TCU Insurance Agency.”

Van Es, a certified public accountant, received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Notre Dame.

TCU Insurance Agency is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Teachers Credit Union, providing auto, home and business insurance in Indiana and Michigan.
