What Do I Need to Open a TCU Business Checking Account?

    1. Your business must be registered with the state as an entity registered to do business in the state of Indiana or Michigan.You must have one of the following:

      • If you own an Incorporated business, corporation, or Limited Liability Corporation, you must produce a Certificate of Existence issued by the state or be listed on the Business Entity Search on the State of Indiana or State of Michigan website (Registered Agents are only contact people for the business, this does not prove financial responsibility)
      • If you own a Partnership or Sole Proprietorship, you must produce a Certificate of Assumed Business Name issued by the county
    2. Provide official documentation or verification of your TIN or EIN.

    3. Documentation providing information on responsible parties, elected officials or appointed officials. Examples would be – Articles of Incorporation, by-laws, Articles of Organization, Operating Agreement, minutes from a meeting.

Your TCU Business Debit MasterCard® makes purchasing for your business easier and more convenient. Funds come directly from your business checking account, and you eliminate the hassle of writing checks. When you use your card at a retailer, just sign the receipt and go. With signature-based transactions, you earn a rebate that can be redeemed for cash. When you apply your rebate toward a commercial loan, TCU will double your rebate points.
