A partnership between TCU and Baugo Community Schools helps strengthen the Baugo Promise program, designed to prepare every Jimtown student for college and careers. TCU is contributing $75,000 toward college savings accounts for Baugo students and establishing a CollegeChoice 529 Direct Savings Plan for all new kindergarteners.

“This collaboration will help Jimtown students make the most of their educational opportunities,” TCU President and CEO Paul Marsh said. “As higher-education costs increase, innovative programs like the Baugo Promise deserve community support to help nurture the talents of our young people.”

In addition, a cash management dividends and sponsorship agreement between TCU and Baugo Community Schools is expected to provide the school district a total of $1.3 million in support over the next five years.

“TCU’s support will help us ensure that Baugo students have the resources they need to fulfill their potential,” Baugo Community Schools Superintendent Byron Sanders said. “Hope Hall and the Baugo Promise are a testament to what’s possible when community institutions work together.”
